But the political turmoil began to emerge again.

The projects started by Shehbaz Sharif before this also became a sign of political change, the two major projects of the Buzdar government, Shiranwala Flyover and Shahkam Flyover were completed and opened to the public, but Gulab Devi Underpass and Lahore Bridge. The pace of projects has slowed down, with projects still taking four months to complete.

Sigiyan Road expansion project was not completed despite passing the deadline, not a single apartment could be constructed on the site of LDA City Naya Pakistan Apartments, two mega projects started this year, Sigiyan Package 3 from Begumkot and under at Sumanabad Mor. The construction of the pass is in progress, work on three more projects is about to start, the projects include Shahdara Multi-Level Grid Separation Project, Bandh Road Extension Project and Akbar Chowk Remodeling Project.

Slow pace of development works and other pending projects are causing problems for the public, 9 sports complexes of the city and one Maurya bridge extension project have not been completed.
